Cherry Tree Cottage is a REYTA Finalist!

We’re delighted to share some rather exciting news: Cherry Tree Cottage has been shortlisted as one of four finalists for Remarkable Self Catering Accommodation of the Year at the REYTA Tourism Awards 2026/27.

The Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards celebrate the people and businesses that contribute to tourism across Hull and East Yorkshire, recognising quality, memorable visitor experiences and the very best of the region’s tourism offer.

For us, being shortlisted feels particularly special because Cherry Tree Cottage only welcomed its first guests in May 2026.

From the beginning, our aim has been simple: to create a peaceful and comfortable place from which guests can really discover Flamborough, walking the coast path, exploring the beaches and coves, enjoying the village and its independent businesses, or simply slowing down for a few days by the sea.

We’ve been incredibly fortunate in our first season to welcome some wonderful guests, receive lovely reviews and see several guests already choosing to return.

To have our little cottage recognised alongside some of East Yorkshire’s established tourism businesses is something we’re very proud of.

The winners will be announced at the REYTA awards ceremony in November. Whatever happens next, we’re rather thrilled to have made the final four.
