Is Cherry Tree Cottage suitable for children ?
There is a double bedroom and a single at Cherry Tree Cottage, so it’s suitable for families with one child - or for a couple. Please note that there is one bathroom.
Is a travel cot available ?
Unfortunately due to space restrictions there isn’t room for a travel cot in either of the bedrooms.
Are bedding and towels provided?
Yes - all bed linen and towels are provided so you can pack light.
Is there WiFi at Cherry Tree Cottage ?
Yes - there is WiFi and this is complimentary during your stay
Is there parking at Cherry Tree Cottage ?
Yes - there is a private parking space on the driveway to the side of the cottage.

What time is check-in ?
Check-in time is 3 pm or after please - if you arrive any earlier then it is possible that the cottage may not yet ready for you. Please also do not arrive after 9 pm as this will risk disturbing our neighbours.
What time do we need to leave at the end of our stay ?
Please vacate the property by no later than 10 am on the day that you are due to leave - this allows essential cleaning and preparation work to be carried out for the next guests. If you do not check out by this time then you may be charged an extra fee to cover the cost of our housekeeper’s time
Do you accept short breaks?
Yes, short stays are available. Enter your preferred dates to check availability.
Do you offer returning-guest or longer-stay discounts?

Are there any places to eat or shops nearby ?
Yes there certainly are - there are pubs located within a short walking distance of Cherry Tree Cottage - as well as The Seabirds where you can book a table for dining if you so wish. There is also a Co-op general store in the village where you can pick up a choice of groceries & wine. There are numerous takeaway options within walking distance to the cottage too.
Is Flamborough a good location for walking?
Yes — Flamborough is one of the best walking destinations on the Yorkshire Coast, with dramatic cliff paths, lighthouse routes, wildlife-rich nature reserves, and easy access to the Yorkshire Wolds.
How close is the cottage to Bempton Cliffs?
RSPB Bempton Cliffs is just a short drive away (approx 4 miles) and is one of the UK’s best places for birdwatching, including puffins in spring and summer.
How far is the cottage from the nearest beach?
The cottage is in the heart of Flamborough village, just a short walk or drive to beaches South Landing (0.9 mile) and North Landing (1.1 mile).

Are dogs allowed at Cherry Tree Cottage?
Yes, Cherry Tree Cottage is dog-friendly and we welcome two small or one medium/large breed dog. We simply ask that they are kept off the beds and not left unattended in the cottage.Is the garden at Cherry Tree Cottage secure?
The garden at Cherry Tree Cottage is enclosed with fencing approximately 1.2m high, with a gate around 1m high. While it is enclosed, we do not advertise the garden as fully secure, so we recommend that dogs are supervised while outside.
Are dogs allowed on the local beaches?
Many beaches along the Yorkshire coast welcome dogs, although some seasonal restrictions may apply in certain areas such as Filey and Bridlington. The nearest beaches at South & North Landing are dog friendly throughout the year with no restrictions.
